Mr. Fagiani has performed recitals in Europe, Israel, Russia, Canada and the United States on many famous instruments, notably the 1728 Cahman organ of the Leufsta Bruk (Sweden), the organ at the Royal Albert Hall (London), and the 1536 Luca da Cortona organ at Arezzo’s cathedral.
He regularly holds interpretation and improvisation masterclasses and lectures at several important institutions around Europe and North America, such as the Cambridge University Organ Scolar’s Forum (UK) and the RCCO, Toronto (Canada). He has also served as juror in international competitions.
He has been the Guest Organist of the Franciscan Shrine of La Verna, Arezzo, since 2008. Since 2010 he has been the organist for Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano LaVerdi, with which he recorded several times for Radio Tre Rai. He has also performed with the orchestra's 6-CD recording project of the symphonic works of Nino Rota, begun in 2013 under the direction of Giuseppe Grazioli. During September 2013 he was with LaVerdi at the BBC-Proms in London, on the magnificent instrument of the Royal Albert Hall, under the baton of Xian Zhang. In November 2013 he was the organist in highly-praised performances of Mahler's 8th Symphony with maestro Riccardo Chailly in Milan.
His organ compositions are part of the repertoire of some of the most prestigious artists of our time as John Scott, Stephen Tharp and David Briggs.
The CD “Crucis Christi Mons Alvernae”, which he recorded with the choir of La Verna’s friars, obtained the “Recording of the year 2009” award from Alias, the cultural review of the National newspaper Il Manifesto. He records with the German label Spektral Records.
