Ken Corneille is a composer, arranger, baritone singer, recital organist, pianist and teacher. Presently, he is the organist, cantor, music director and choral director at Saint Anthony Church in Yonkers, New York. Ken teaches privately, voice, piano, organ, improvisation and music composition.
Ken has written liturgical music for the Catholic and Episcopal churches and also for the Jewish Reform Movement many of which have been published. He has written many pieces for varied combinations of instruments, piano works, organ compositions, voice and piano and has written 18 symphonies, many of which have been composed since 2017. The symphonies vary in style and mood and are scored for small orchestra all the way up to a very large orchestra including SATB chorus.
Ken has put together a musical ensemble called “Infinite Lights” which consists of flute/piccolo, Bb clarinet, Tenor Sax, electrified acoustic guitar, double bass/electric bass, percussion, piano and singer. The ensemble plays exclusively Jewish music which includes original prayer settings for jewish liturgy and arrangements of jewish melodies and folk tunes.
